About Cathedral Camp
Our Goal & Mission
Our goal at Cathedral Camp is to provide a positive experience for all campers, honoring each person's uniqueness and fostering the development of new skills in as many areas as possible.

As a ministry of the Fall River Roman Catholic Diocese, Cathedral Camp strives to create an atmosphere in which Christian values are modeled by the way we treat one another and the environment in our everyday activities.
We welcome girls and boys of all races and creeds between the ages of 4 and 14 at Cathedral Camp.
Cathedral Camp is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Freetown (MA) Board of Health, and follows all state and diocesan regulations.
Our Staff

Staff members are chosen on the basis of their maturity, commitment to Cathedral Camp's philosophy, desire to work with children, and skills and certification in their specific fields.
Before hired, our prospective staff must submit to criminal and sexual offender checks (CORI and SORI checks), be interviewed by the Assistant Director and provide written references.
Also, pre-camp staff training is a requirement for all staff. We are pleased to say that at least half of our staff are regular returnees. They have come to love the Cathedral Camp experience and return with greater expertise and renewed dedication.
